On April 5th, 1976, the Centre for Human Rights and Social Welfare (CHRSW) was officially registered. This organisation has worked to create a "Health Read morey and Happy" society since its founding. A lot of work has gone into ensuring that members of the underprivileged and marginalised communities may exercise their rights. The principles of CHRSW are justice, equality, equity, harmony, peace, and fraternity. Research, advocacy, and intervention have been pursued in addition to grassroots efforts.

Programs

  • Homeless campaign & Housing Rights for single women

    Health, education, family planning, RCH, adolescent issues, human rights, women's issues, "Communal Harmony," and raising awareness among the homeless, impoverished Muslims, and Dalits are among the causes for which CHRSW has been actively involved. Women's empowerment has always been a priority for CHRSW, especially for Muslim women from low-income and conservative homes and homeless women.
