The K K Birla memorial society is committed to help communities in areas such as education, rural development, employment, soil and water health, skil Read morel development, and healthcare. It organises various program at the state and village level to help farmers make use of the available facilities to ensure optimum soil and water health. The organisation aims to provide access to quality education and create better employment opportunities for the underrepresented sections of the society. It drives many events to encourage children in sports and cultural events.

Adopted 53 schools spread across 35 villages. Benefits over 10000 students. As a result, school enrolments increased five times in 5 years. Transformed 47 anganwadis across 32 villages into model pre-schools. Around 25000 rural residents benefitted from the health camps.

  • Project Arogya

    District

    Conducts health camps and campaigns to increase the awareness of the community about the available healthcare facilities. Adopts primary healthcare centers, drives the necessary upgradation of infrastructure, provides medical equipment and lab test facilities. It has set up water purifiers in schools and anganwadi centers and other public spaces.

  • Project Pragati

    District

    Encourages women in village communities to start self-help groups. Assists in micro financing activities so that the families can pull themselves out of the vicious cycle of debt and poverty. Creates alternate non-farm income generating options such as bag making, tailoring, soft toy making, paper recycling, and spice packaging. Facilitates the implementation of schemes such as Ujwala Yojana, MGNREGA, Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojna, Jeevan Jyoti Beema and Jeevan Suraksha Yojna.

  • Sports

    District

    Organises coaching camps for sports enthusiasts and conducts sports events at the rural level. Encourages rural talent by providing training in specific sports to represent at the state/national level. Chambal conducted sports events in 24 adopted schools. Around 800 students actively participated in it. The organisation used this as a platform to create awareness of the many benefits of pursuing sports.

  • Education

    District

    Promotes education, including special education, and employment-centric vocational courses. The organisation provides essential supplies such as furniture, stationery, to government anganwadi centers in Rajasthan. It also supports the infrastructure development projects by constructing, repairing, and maintaining anganwadi centers. Teachers and supporting staff are also trained about the importance of holistic learning and the long-term benefits of practicing good hygiene. Arranges remedial learning sessions for students who need support. It has partnered with Pratham to conduct a survey of each child in 22 villages and plan educational interventions. Organizes cultural and sports events in the schools and anganwadi centers. It also facilitates training of teachers, coordinators, and support teachers of the schools. It provides technical training to enable job aspirants to get well-paying jobs.Arranges for campus placement drives to help student get the right job.

  • Project Bhoomi

    District

    Helps farmers to manage crop residue, thus controlling crop residue burning. Operates mobile testing vans to test water and soil samples. Support water and land conservation effort by leading rain harvesting in schools and colleges. Encourages the use of alternate energy by installing solar panels in schools and spaces allocated for this purpose by panchayats. The organisation helps villages in waste management, thus ensuring that the water bodies in and around the villages are clean.
