Yug Sambal Foundation (YSF), in collaboration with NICETS, has initiated an Integrated Agricultural Development Program, through which it has establis Read morehed seed banks in villages which serve as agricultural resource centers. This program works to increase agricultural productivity and farmers' income by enabling them to access inputs and services and new farming technology. Currently this project is implemented in 5 villages in Bundelkhand. YSF's "Livelihood Center of Innovations" is an initiative to generate more career options and reinvent livelihoods based on traditional arts and crafts by transforming them into micro enterprises and encouraging entrepreneurship in rural communities. YSF has conducted a training program for women who make handbags from handmade paper in Dausa, Rajasthan, and a training program for women who make incense sticks in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. Under these training programs, women were taught how to enhance productivity, reduce cost, automate production, access markets, and produce designs according to relevant market trends. In addition, the organization has conducted many health and wellness camps in rural areas, including a camp on prevention of waterborne diseases during monsoons in Bhawanikhera, Ajmer, a camp on prevention of communicable diseases in Paota, Jaipur, and a camp on prevention of seasonal diseases in Railmagra, Rajsamand. Additionally, YSF conducts one-day workshops, including its Origami Workshop for schoolchildren in Morra, Rajsamand. Through its "Livelihood Centre of Innovations" initiative, it also conducted a workshop teaching women how to make paper envelopes in Kotputli, Jaipur, and an Entrepreneurship Skill Development Workshop for women in Kotdwara, Uttarakhand.
