Khelshala, since its establishment in 2009, operates as an after-school enrichment programme that has positively impacted over 150 children in Northern India. It currently serves approximately 100 children across two sites in Village Attawa, Chandigarh, and Village Majra, Punjab, with 50 attending regularly. Through its child-centred approach, Khelshala divides students into three groups: the Core Group, consisting of students excelling in academics, sports, yoga, and programme ownership; the Special Needs Group, which supports children who have graduated from school or require special assistance; and the Potential Group, for newly enrolled children observed for suitability to join the main programme, receiving academics, yoga, and squash sessions. Khelshala's holistic approach has led to noticeable improvements in children's growth, communication skills, academic performance, personal hygiene, and community engagement.
