The Veeranwali Foundation, an NGO operating since 2005, focuses on providing education and healthcare to disadvantaged children. It also supports the Read moremarriage of fatherless and orphan girls from impoverished backgrounds, with its flagship project, Nanhi Jaan. Its vision centres on empowering underprivileged children by ensuring they receive education and good health. This involves funding critical care equipment, medicines, and surgeries, as well as logistical support through volunteer deployment. The organisation's goal is to utilize funds for critical care equipment, medicines, and surgeries for underprivileged children. Donors will receive regular updates on activities and fund usage via emails and newsletters, with full transparency of accounts on the website. Every rupee collected and spent will be meticulously recorded, reflecting the commitment to 100% transparency.

Impact
During Covid-19, the foundation raised funds of more than Rs. 67 lakh. People from various socio-economic background contributed for the cause. This amount was used to support the under-privileged families affected by Covid-19 and to provide masks, gowns, and sanitisers to frontline workers, nurses and medical professionals.

On October 4, 2017, Team Nanhi Jaan donated over 100 made-to- order blankets to the Paediatric emergency ward at APC PGI.

Sector 16 Govt Hospital Ventilator
Nanhi Jaan donated a high-end ventilator, with an ABG machine to the government hospital.

Visit to Masol Village
Nanhi Jaan conducts regular health camps in Masol village near Chandigarh. It uses the opportunity to educate adults and children about the importance of good hygiene practices. The team also celebrates festivals with the village children.

Joy of Giving Day celebrations
On May 11, 2017, Team Nanhi Jaan organised Joy of Giving Day on May 11, 2017. About 19 schools from the region participated in the function. Differently-abled children and children from schools who support inclusive education pitched in to perform at a common platform.
