RUCHI prioritizes the optimal management of natural resources, including soil, water, and vegetation. Through an integrated watershed development approach, the community is actively engaged in environmental resource management. This holistic strategy encompasses soil and water conservation, environmental sanitation, and the promotion of organic farming practices.

Watershed management techniques play a crucial role in mitigating soil erosion, reclaiming degraded lands, enhancing soil moisture, capturing rainwater, mitigating floods, replenishing groundwater, and restoring vegetation. Over time, these efforts lead to the restoration of rainfall patterns, improvement of the climate, regeneration of soil fertility, rejuvenation of greenery, and revitalization of the environment. Additionally, they enhance the well-being of villagers, making them self-sufficient in food, firewood, fodder, fruit, health, and hygiene.
