Arogya Sandhan Charitable Trust is a Kolkata‑based non-profit organization, founded in 2007 with a registered trust deed, dedicated to serving individ Read moreuals with lifelong disabilities—such as Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Mental Retardation, Multiple Disabilities, and Mental Illness—especially those whose parents are unable to care for them. The trust's guiding mission is to establish both short‑ and long‑term residential facilities that provide holistic support: encompassing diagnostics, therapeutic interventions, vocational training, education, and community integration. Organized around a phased development model, Arogya Sandhan initiated its first-care phase (2010–2011) with outpatient rehabilitation, training workshops, therapy, multisensory units, and respite care. Subsequent phases focused on building residential infrastructure, hydrotherapy, and expanded care capacity, culminating in a facility offering training and accommodation for over thirty individuals with structured programs .
