Works with the aim of promoting and spreading awareness about plant protection in India. Its activities are primarily focused on publication of a quar Read moreterly scientific journal named the Indian Journal Of Plant Protection where it publishes scholarly articles on protection of plant species. The journal has been rated 5.07 by the National Academy of Agricultural Sciences (NAAS) and has a rating of 0.091 on the Research Impact Indicator of Indian Citation Index. The Association follows a policy of open membership to all scientists and institutions working for protection of plants or having an interest in plants and plant protection. Apart from publication of the journal, it also organizes conferences and seminars on various themes surrounding the topic of plant protection. It presently has 233 individuals as regular members, 789 individuals as life members and 46 organizations as institutional members. It has published 44 volumes of the journal and also organized 10 major conferences.
