On September 25th, 2023, in commemoration of the 54th NSS Day, a significant event unfolded as iLEAD's NSS Unit partnered with the Lions Club of Kolkata Leo and Leo Club of Kolkata Sunrise to host a Blood Donation Camp at the Dale Carnegie Auditorium of iLEAD. Recognizing the critical importance of blood donation, this initiative aimed to underscore the potential of each drop collected to save lives and foster community unity. With a strong commitment to social causes and community welfare, iLEAD's NSS Unit showcased their dedication to service and humanitarianism through this collaborative effort, highlighting the spirit of compassion and communal service.

On August 9th, 2023, the NSS Unit of iLEAD orchestrated a tree plantation drive at the open space of iLEAD Street Library in Topsia, adjacent to the college campus. Led by Dr. Soumen Chatterjee, Ms. Aradhana Das, and Mr. Subhadeep Das, faculty members of iLEAD, along with students, the event aimed to foster environmental sustainability. Together, they planted saplings in the vicinity, highlighting the unit's commitment to frequent tree plantation initiatives for the betterment of the city's ecological landscape.

On July 6th, 2023, the volunteers from iLEAD's NSS unit paid a heartfelt visit to the Ram Krishna Old Age Home located near Hatibagan on Hari Ghosh St. The home, currently housing 31 residents, warmly welcomed the volunteers, who distributed essential items such as bed sheets, snacks, fruits, health drinks, and inspirational books. The interaction proved to be emotionally enriching for both the elderly residents and the volunteers, prompting an invitation for future visits, underscoring the meaningful impact of their outreach efforts.
