    Karya Social Welfare Foundation operates a user-friendly smartphone application that enables anyone to become a Karya worker. It connects these digital workers with various dataset demands, including local-language speech datasets, document digitization, building image corpuses, and image/video annotation and labelling. Karya collects client requirements, breaks them down into manageable digital tasks, identifies suitable workers, collects and validates data, and compiles high-quality AI/ML training datasets. Its commitment to ethical practices is reflected in its Ethical Data Pledge. Karya's primary focus is on engaging with rural communities below the poverty line, traditionally excluded from digital work opportunities, and it establishes connections through network partnerships to maximize its impact.
