In collaboration with local villagers and the Panchayat, CRDRC extended support to individuals facing distress and financial hardship with compassion and care. During the winter of 2016, blankets and clothing were distributed to those in need within four villages of the Paschim Medinipur district. This initiative brought warmth and relief to the residents of these communities during the colder months.

In partnership with the National Institute of Cholera and Enteric Diseases (NICED), CRDRC facilitated three health and hygiene campaigns as part of NICED's initiative to commemorate the 'Nation-wide Sanitation and Cleanliness Campaign' in honour of Shri Jaya Prakash Narayan's birth anniversary. These campaigns aimed to promote health and hygiene practices. Information Education & Communication (IEC) materials pertaining to diarrhoea management at home and proper handwashing techniques were distributed during these events. Practical demonstrations illustrated the correct method of handwashing with soap and water, while children trained in handwashing extended their knowledge to others who arrived later at the event.
