Founded in the January of 1965 in the auspicious occasion of Swami Vivekananda's birthday, the Ramkrishna Vedanta Ashram is world wide non-sectarian spiritual organisation which Read morehave been the force behind the development in its surrounding and has benefited individuals, irrespective of its caste, creed, sexual identity and religion for years. Serving a soul has been the objective of the organisation since it's inception. In the present context, the organisation has a school which is affiliated till class 10 and has an orphanage where almost 60 children lives. The ashram is more than a foster father and mother for those ‘fallen’ children. Its ultimate motto is to give those children a positive hope for living a normal life. Apart from these things the ashram is also involved in various socio-economic activities for the benefit of the socially distressed people. In recent times, the Ashram aims to make a healthcare center which has proper infrastructure and also secure the health related risks of the children of the ashram and also the people who lives nearby.
