TotalStart Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Developers has a clear focus on empowering underdeveloped regions and underprivileged communities by fostering e Read morentrepreneurship. It believes in three core ideas: the significance of rural areas in the country's foundation, the role of micro and small enterprises in socioeconomic stability, and the need for wealth creation within the underprivileged community for its upliftment. With this foundation, TotalStart initiated two flagship programmes aimed at incubating and scaling rural entrepreneurs as well as enterprises within the underprivileged community. The first flagship programme concentrates on supporting micro and small entrepreneurs at the rural and district levels, while the second programme aims to nurture and grow enterprises within the underprivileged community. These initiatives initially started intensively in Sikkim and West Bengal from 2010 to 2014, later expanding their reach to 25 Regional District Hubs across 12+ states. Funding primarily comes from TotalStart's founding members and selective CSR contributions. Despite facing challenges and limited support, TotalStart's dedication, driven by its visionary leader Dr Suryanil Ghosh, persists in mentoring and engaging rural enterprises for their growth. The organisation's DNA embodies an unwavering commitment to making a meaningful impact where it matters most.
