Devi Savitri Shiksha Prasar Samiti, since 2006, has been dedicated to improving the lives of laborer's families, especially focusing on empowering SC, Read more ST, and below-poverty-line women and their children. Our initiatives provide education, skill development, and health awareness to foster growth and self-reliance in underserved communities. Since 2008, we have also been running **D.S. Middle School**, a non-profit private school designed to offer high-quality education at a minimal cost specifically for the children of labouring women. Our school emphasizes academic excellence, personal growth, and life skills, helping uplift and transform these children's futures. We are committed to creating long-lasting, positive change through education and empowerment.

Issues We Address: Lack of Access to Quality Education: Many children of laborer's, especially from SC, ST, and below-poverty-line communities, struggle to access quality education due to financial and social barriers. Gender Inequality in Education and Skills: Women from marginalized backgrounds face limited opportunities for education and vocational training, hindering their empowerment and economic independence. Poor Health and Hygiene: Laborers’ families often suffer from inadequate access to healthcare, nutrition, and hygiene education, affecting their overall well-being and development. Cycle of Poverty: The intergenerational cycle of poverty limits opportunities for children and women, making it difficult for them to improve their standard of living without targeted support and intervention.

Education for All: Running D.S. Middle School since 2008, offering minimal-cost, high-quality education specifically for the children of labouring women, ensuring equal access to learning. Skill Development Programs: Organizing workshops and vocational training for SC, ST, and below-poverty-line women, helping them develop skills to improve their livelihood and self-reliance. Health and Hygiene Initiatives: Conduct regular health camps, nutrition awareness programs, and hygiene education for labourers’ families to improve their overall well-being. Community Support: Providing resources, scholarships, and educational materials to children from disadvantaged backgrounds, ensuring they have the tools to succeed. Our program provides these women with access to education, skill development, and health awareness, enabling them to improve their economic independence and quality of life.

    We offer vocational training, literacy programs, and workshops on health, hygiene, and personal growth. These initiatives are designed to equip women with the tools they need to support their families, break the cycle of poverty, and become self-reliant.
