Peoples Foundation

The People's Village project, an initiative by the People's Foundation, aims to offer housing to landless individuals who have either lost their resources due to disasters or lack the means to construct a dwelling. With a reach spanning 35 villages in Kerala, this project has made a substantial impact, providing over 1425 beneficiaries with more than 285 houses. It plays a pivotal role in ensuring a dignified living space for those who are in dire need.

Mental well-being holds equal importance to physical health, a fact acknowledged by the People's Foundation. It has launched multiple projects addressing mental health concerns in Kerala, particularly through successful de-addiction programmes that combat alcohol and drug dependency. These initiatives have made significant strides in curbing substance abuse cases in the region, contributing substantially to enhancing the overall quality of life for Kerala's residents.

The People's Home project is dedicated to offering housing solutions for individuals without shelter. This endeavour focuses on rallying community assets and Government allocations to build residences for the less fortunate. The aim is to establish secure and pleasant living spaces for those experiencing homelessness, ensuring their well-being and comfort.

The Peoples Startup Project, a bold endeavour by the Peoples Foundation, is aimed at nurturing top-tier entrepreneurs and promoting entrepreneurship, innovation, and skill development to accelerate economic growth and the generation of high-value employment opportunities. Launched in 2019, the project remains active, engaging entrepreneurs at various levels. Over 1,000 entrepreneurs have directly benefited, spanning from rural micro-enterprises to medium-sized entrepreneurs with substantial business growth and investment aspirations. The project provides essential technical training and consulting services, utilizing both Government and non-government resources to support entrepreneurs in achieving their goals.

People's Info, a social endeavour by People's Foundation, is dedicated to ensuring timely access to precise and dependable information. Recognizing the paramount importance of accurate information in effective decision-making across various life domains, this initiative is committed to delivering up-to-date and comprehensive details on health, education, job prospects, and social welfare programmes. Its mission is to empower individuals with information that enables informed choices, thereby contributing to the welfare and progress of marginalized communities in Kerala.
