Residential hostel for orphan and semi-orphan boys

A residential hostel has been established to accommodate orphaned and semi-orphaned boys, providing them with a range of free facilities in addition to education. Currently, there are 48 students residing in the hostel. These students receive a balanced diet as part of their care, and the hostel's manager, who is responsible for their well-being, oversees their studies and healthcare needs.

The school is staffed with a total of 18 teachers, along with one computer operator, one caretaker, and four cleaning staff members. Among the staff, 11 are permanent employees, 2 work part-time, and 11 are employed on a daily wage basis. Additionally, the school conducts regular meetings at the school level to discuss topics such as the syllabus and teaching methods.

For the girls from 3rd to 10th grade, they are divided into four houses named after renowned women such as Jhansilakshmi Bai, Rani Rudrama Devi, Mother Teresa, and Anne Ferrer. Similarly, boys are divided into houses named after distinguished men, including Sri Krishnadevaraya, Bhagat Singh, Swami Vivekananda, and Vincent Ferrer. Each house competes against other houses of the same gender in sports, while mixed teams are formed when conducting quiz competitions. -

On the 6 acres of land owned by DBTS, crops such as rice and vegetables/green leaves are cultivated. Higher-class students receive education about the environment, fundamental farming practices, and the significance of green leaves, vegetables, and fruits. The efficient utilization of this land has allowed them to partially fulfill their rice and vegetable needs, thereby reducing the organization's financial burden. Additionally, the land features fruit trees, including lemon, jamun, and several mango trees.
