Assam Cancer Care Foundation, established in December 2017, is a joint initiative between the Government of Assam and Tata Trusts. It aims to create a Read more unique three-level cancer care grid across the state, ensuring accessible and affordable cancer treatment. This patient-centric, distributed care model brings standardized care closer to patients' homes, benefiting around 50% of Assam's cancer patients. The foundation is committed to improving cancer care accessibility and outcomes for the people of Assam.

  • State-of-the-art Cancer Centres

    State

    The network of Cancer Centres will enhance access to care facilities for patients. The time spent in travel to reach a cancer facility will reduce significantly.

  • Swasth Assam – Health Screening & Awareness Kiosk

    State

    The novel concept of the kiosks has come across as an enabler to provide access to people for getting awareness against cancer and to get themselves checked up. Since the kiosk is a healthcare touchpoint, opportunistic check-up of Blood Pressure and Blood Sugar is also done in the centres to cover the two non-communicable diseases.
