Works directly and through Government systems to reach children and school dropouts. Pratham's instructor works directly with children either in the school or in the community. While working in the “partnership” model, it works with Government teams at all levels to implement programmes such as early childhood, elementary, beyond elementary and digital initiatives. It operates in direct collaboration with the community through learning centres called Balwadis managed by local women in a community-owned space and assists Government-run Anganwadi centres in the training of Anganwadi instructors, mentoring, monitoring, and providing on-site support.

  • Hamara Gaon

Initiated in 2018-19, the Hamara Gaon program aims to create local community ownership of children’s learning and transform the educational landscape of village over a period of 3-5 years.
