IndiVillage offers Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) services at low prices, while empowering the youth of low-income rural communities by providing Read moreeducation and economic opportunities. It supports the education of around 300 children from economically-backward families. In addition, it works to empower women, by offering 70% of its BPO jobs to women, helping them earn steady wages and increase the income of their household. The rural BPO aims to benefit all its stakeholders: companies, the rural community, investors, and its clients. It emphasizes training and a focus on innovation and technology. To its clients, IndiVillage provides data, image, and content BPO services. Its services include the following: helping e-commerce companies improve the quality of their data; writing product-descriptions; editing and processing images; tagging images and documents; converting print advertisements into digital ads; entering, verifying, and managing data; monitoring content; and digitizing documents. The organization reinvests 100% of its profit into the development of local communities, with a focus on providing education and clean water. It has partnered with various local NGOs, helping fund scholarships, support teachers, and invest in technology for schools. Its clean water project provides water to 1,200 school children and 1,000 families. It is the first Business Process Outsourcing company in India to become a certified B Corporation. B Corps are for-profit companies that work to solve social and environmental issues. Caspian is the first Indian Impact Investing firm to be granted a B Corp certification.​
