Padhne Do, Badhne Do
It is a special Access to Education Fund under CSJ's Survivor Support Program that will be used to help kids keep going to school while they get over the trauma of abuse and work their way through the legal system. With their best efforts to heal from abuse, children should not have to worry about any disruption to their education, which is the Fund's main objective.
-
Legal Support
A legal counsel serves as the main source of legal help, with assistance from CSJ's pro bono panel and an internal attorney.
Ensuring the child's rights are upheld and that they receive justice in court;
Providing kid-friendly legal preparation; and
Ensuring that the youngster gets just recompense.Good legal representation for child survivors guarantees that POCSO cases follow a child-friendly legal process, allowing the kid and family to pursue free legal recourse and resolution without placing the child in danger during testimony or in court.
-
Psychosocial Support
The POCSO Act of 2012 provides for the provision of psychosocial support by qualified social workers who serve as survivors' support persons.
- Offering family and child counselling
- Assisting the child with testimony and all court proceedings
- Determining and attending to the safety and rehabilitation needs of the kid by making the proper recommendations to other services, like school enrollment, medical care, and so forth.For the child, the Support Person is crucial throughout the process. They make sure the child gets all the assistance they need to live their lives to the fullest, and that their needs are recognized and satisfied.
