E-Shishya works in education sector to help rural students gain access to technology and utilise it to learn efficiently. The organisation provides a Read morevirtual platform which comprises of a mentorship programme, mobile games, e-books and animation series. The mentorship programme is a virtual support system for children with poor economic backgrounds. It comprises of a batch of 10-15 children and involves reading storybooks such as Amar Chitra Katha, Malgudi Days and many more depending upon the child's reading aptitude. The animation series, 'Vocabtoons' is dedicated to provide fun-filled and easy to learn vocabulary solutions to children. The series refers to the CBSE word list to weave stories around the word pool that have more recall value. The children are made to watch 2 videos per week. The organisation also uses images, videos, activities and strategies to convert a classroom into an active learning space.
