Khwahishein Foundation works to provide support to underprivileged communities with its interventions in areas of child education, health, hygiene, wo Read moremen upliftment and environment. The foundation aims to identify individual potential of underprivileged children and empower them to be a part of an overall development process through the provision of basic education. Also, it provides medical care alongside creating awareness on variety of health related issues. It further provides counselling for family planning and free maternity care to women belonging to underprivileged communities. Additionally, the foundation provides support to people with disabilities through its interventions in education, skill development, vocational training and health services. The foundation also supports the establishment of various women groups, youth groups, self help groups, old aged groups and group of volunteers for collective societal reforms. The foundation has further established 'The Khwahishein School' which caters to a group of 60 children by imparting basic academic knowledge to support them to cope with the formal education imparted in mainstream schools.
