The GiftAbled Foundation works with a vision to create an inclusive world where people with disabilities have equal prospects in all aspects of life. Read moreIts mission is to innovate and quicken inclusion to ease the lives of people with disabilities. The Foundation has various initiatives to provide access to quality healthcare for people with disabilities through its Svastya Health Initiative. In addition, it also focuses on building inclusive workplaces by providing solutions to enable people with disability in organisations. The foundation recognises that people with disabilities may not fall into usual social standards, and therefore aims to build a community of like-minded individuals to jointly create an environment that is friendly to people with disabilities.

Programs

Child Development Centre
It employs various methods and therapies to detect and handle cases of disabilities in children providing online and home-based treatment services. All the cases are tracked through a development milestone tracker to access each child’s unique needs. It also works to provide assistive devices to introduce mobility into the child’s life. It partners with multiple NGOs to extend its reach to rural and remote areas.

Sculpt Project
Aims to enable children with disabilities to reach the level of other children by providing tools and methods to facilitate the special teaching and learning requirements of such children. Its contents feature learning resources, simple remedial learning techniques, availability in local languages, and online presence enabling access at school or home.

Project LearnAbled
The Foundation with an intent to arm youth with disabilities with employable skills runs more than 10 quick courses. The courses feature both technical and non-technical skills and are online, thus open to special youth from all over India to join and gain appropriate trades enabling them to attain employment and therefore sustenance.

Project Swatantra
This project strives to endow people with disabilities with livelihood options by skilling them in occupations like honey bee farming, mushroom, horticultural and vermicompost training, sewing, spice and incense stick making. It also attempts to develop and prepare trainers who can go forward and carry on the training process empowering more people with disabilities.

The Foundation offers various services like training, employee engagement, consultations, audits and gifting ideas, keeping its core objective of creating a better living for people with disabilities in view and helping organisations make their employees and premises more disabled-friendly.
