It achieves this through the traditional craft of crochet, crafting functional everyday items with a single needle and yarn. Over the past decade, Samoolam has remained dedicated to its mission, empowering women to become financially self-sufficient and supporting their families. It also enhances artisans' personal confidence through English language and digital skills training. In addition to economic empowerment, Samoolam organises health camps to promote the well-being of its artisans and families, reflecting its commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for rural women and promoting overall well-being. Samoolam's design philosophy draws inspiration from nature and everyday objects, resulting in a diverse product range. Collaborating with prestigious Indian brands and foreign embassies has contributed to its growth and sustained efforts, reinforcing its commitment to economic empowerment. Its products have earned the Craftmark 'Handmade in India' certification, recognizing its dedication to promoting India's craft and artisan communities.
