Val-Ed initiatives is an education based venture providing values and character education programs for schools, colleges and organisations. It aims to Read more empower the participants with attitude and skills that enable them to achieve success in academic and professional endeavors. The organisation designs programmes based on the methods which include experimental learning, story reading, self-reflection and inquiry based questioning. Additionally, the organisation's programme Saksham is a long term character building programme for schools which aims to raise awareness regarding thoughts ideas and actions and provides guidance towards value based decision making and righteous living. It's method comprises of steps which include experience, reflection, realisation and transformation. The second programme is the Great Indian Story (TGIS) which aims to help the participants understand the wisdom of Mahabharata to solve the present day challenges. The third programme is India 2020 which is a group game designed to playfully engage and mindfully challenge participants towards the goal of a developed India. It is also customised as per organisations to provide employees with organisational values and embed them into their thinking and behavior. The fourth programme is Child Coaching which is aimed at helping children develop, ask the right questions, develop curiosity and get inspired. The programme helps children deal with emotions, increases level of empathy and instills value based leadership in everyday situations. Further, the organisation also provides ‘Saksham Educator Training’ (SET) Program for teachers which helps them understand and master the concepts, approaches, methods and best practices in values and character education across children of all ages. Also, the organisation has established a Saksham Values Lab at Sarvodaya National Public School which is designed to inculcate human values, social- emotional skills, and character traits and promotes a collaborative environment where learning is measured in terms of self-growth.
