    Bosch Foundation's BRIDGE programme aims to enhance the employability of underprivileged, school dropout youth in India. This short-term, three-month initiative offers comprehensive vocational training, including soft skills, industry-specific training, social skills, and on-the-job training. The focus is on preparing these young individuals for organised or semi-organized job sectors. After completing the programme, BRIDGE candidates receive 100% job placement support, benefiting sectors like automotive dealerships, telecommunications, hospitality, retail, and ITES/BPO. To date, BRIDGE has impacted over 40,000 youth, providing them access to formal job sectors with better conditions and remuneration. Bosch also addresses the challenge of training trainers and collaborates with state governments in a successful public-private partnership model, enhancing vocational training in India.

    The Bosch Foundation is dedicated to improving the health, hygiene, and education of underprivileged children. It runs the Child Health Development Programme (CHDP) focusing on students aged 6 to 15 in Government schools. The programme includes health camps, hygiene awareness sessions, and support for medical treatment through NGO partners. Additionally, the Foundation aids in upgrading public health centres and constructs clean toilets at schools, providing maintenance oversight. In terms of education, Bosch enhances learning by setting up computer labs, offering science education through mobile labs, and providing English teachers and life skills training. Its Mobile Science Lab, Lab in a Box, and Lab on a Bike initiative promote interactive learning, particularly in science, reaching remote schools. Bosch Foundation's holistic efforts aim to create a brighter future for these disadvantaged children.

    The Bosch Foundation undertakes Neighbourhood Projects in various regions, tailored to local community needs. These projects encompass Shyanumangala Lake Rejuvenation, aimed at preserving biodiversity and supporting local communities through the restoration of a vital water source. The Nashik Run, organised by Bosch and other corporates, raises funds for various charitable initiatives, benefiting the economically disadvantaged. Check Dams, a CSR project by Nashik Plant management, reduces water erosion, while Reverse Osmosis (RO) Plants in Jaipur provide clean drinking water to villagers. The Foundation also supports the Akshaya Patra Foundation in operating a centralized mid-day meal Kitchen, offering nutritious meals to thousands of Government school children in Bengaluru's outskirts, thus facilitating both sustenance and access to education.

These Master and Multiplier centres are equipped with a comprehensive array of tools, including Bosch Power Tools, and their training methodology is rooted in German principles of thoroughness (Gründlichkeit) and passion (Leidenschaft) to ensure the highest standards of craftsmanship and dedication.
