Creative Action for Rural Development (CARD) originated from the collaboration of socially aware individuals, professionals, and young female leaders Read morededicated to pioneering and human-centered development approaches. The founders advocated for development devoid of religious influence, stressing that transformative changes must originate from within communities themselves. This guiding principle remains fundamental to CARD's endeavors. The organisation envisages a world where every individual is entitled to live freely and with dignity, acknowledging and respecting diverse gender and sexual orientations. Embracing the values of inclusive and sustainable societies, CARD endeavors to create environments where freedom, diversity, and sustainability converge, nurturing equitable and vibrant communities. Its mission revolves around forming alliances with pioneers in innovative development initiatives, aiming to address persistent social challenges through empowering individuals and communities at the grassroots level. The organisation promotes the establishment of community-based organisations as a potent catalyst for sustainable development, advocating for collective action in areas such as socio-economic empowerment, education, and healthcare.
