    CRD engages in a range of humanitarian efforts, including empowering women through Self-Help Groups (SHGs), child development programmes, and youth empowerment initiatives. It conducts health and sanitation awareness programmes and advocates for environmental conservation. CRD is actively involved in income generation programmes and provides educational support. The organisation also establishes Child Protection Committees and Village Development Committees, promoting vermicomposting, organic cultivation, and inter-crop farming. CRD supports farmers through associations, offers non-formal education for adult women, and constructs a People Resource Training Center. Integrated farming and technical guidance for tribal farmers are key initiatives, along with awareness programmes on cattle rearing and assistance for handicraft artisans. Additionally, CRD runs a de-addiction programme for those struggling with alcohol addiction.
