Swarnachitra Shilpa Kala Niketan, established in 2003, began with a clear vision to provide drawing education to underprivileged children. Initially n Read moreamed Swarnachitraly Ankan Kendra, it later evolved into Swarnachitra Anken Kendra, focusing on nurturing artistic talents among boys and girls from disadvantaged backgrounds. Led by Mr. Saikat Roy, a renowned contemporary artist, the school prioritized affordability, with students contributing less than 10 rupees. Over the years, the institution expanded its offerings to include craftwork, aiming to bring joy and fulfillment to its students. By 2015, overcoming various challenges, Swarnachitra Anken Kendra transformed into Swarnachitra Art School, marking a significant milestone in its journey. Subsequently, in 2018, Swarnachitra Shilpa Kala Niketan was formally established, further solidifying its commitment to providing accessible drawing education and fostering artistic expression among young learners.
