With the support of Coal India Limited and Rotary India Literacy Mission we are currently running 30 adult education centres i.e VIDYA 22in Boipariguda Block of Koraput and 8 in Mathili block of Malkangiri district. The aim of the project is to make a literate India and Bikashit Bharat. 27 Akshyar Sathis are educating 1200 adult learners of the age group of 16 to above.

Pentahkotta is an urban slum of Puri Municipality which constitutes of four municipality wards. Immigrant marine fisherfolk communities are residing there from 70-80 years back. They are from Andhra Pradesh and they speak telugu language only. Due to language barrier they are unable to get the benefits of different Govt. Schemes and Medical facilities. With the support of SWASTI we are implementing a project "Call4SVASTH". The aim of the project is to provide free digital health support to the vulnerable communities and also to improve the mental health well being. We are connecting 2000 families digitally, the patients with the doctor for consultation. Besides this we are also working on linkage of beneficiaries on different welfare schemes.

The organization raises awareness about MNREGA and tackles hunger-related problems, provides training to farmers, enhances women's skills in coir-making, and promotes disaster-resistant agricultural practices in Kanas tehsil. We have formed 3 nos. of Farmer Producer companies and they are involved in different types of livelihood activities i.e Pisciculture, Dockery, Phynile making, Coir rope and Mat making, Vermi composting etc.

In the domain of governance, the organisation aids in gathering information through the RTI Act and resolving related issues. It conducts training for PRI members, maps beneficiaries across various Government schemes, and enhances the capacity of women within PRI. It ensures women's involvement in Palli Sabha and Gram Sabha, along with the preparation of Micro Level Plans and Gram Panchayat Development Plan. GSP is also creating awareness among the community on different Schemes and entitlements. Through village information centre we are facilitating application process on different schemes of Govt..

Penthkotta is one of the largest urban slum of Puri as well as Asia. More than 10000 immigrant fisherfolk communities are residing there from 70-80 years back. All of them are telugu community and belongs to different places of Andhra pradesh and Telengana state. COVID-19 pandemic mostly affected them. Due the fishing ban and no market accessibility they unable to earn and feed their family members twice a day. Looking to this GSP with the support of Community Action Collab and VRUTTI implementing a project namely "Economic Resilience". The project basically designed in CDAR frame work. C Means- Conservation, D- Diversification, A-Aggregation and R- Risk Pulling. In this project we are creating opportunities on alternative livelihoods, Disaster Risk management, Marine litter management, Formation of Livelihood safety committee and Fishermen safety committee and Kishori Clubs. We are creating revolving fund within the committee to face the disaster.

We are creating awareness among the community on Disaster Risk Reduction. As a implementing partner of Odisha State Disaster Management Authority we are conducting Preparation of Village Disaster Management Plan in 84 villages of Puri & Malkangiri district. In this project with the active support and engagement of all stakeholders we are forming Village Disaster management committee in revenue villages and also forming 9 Disaster management team in each village. Handholding support with capacity building training is also one of the major component of the Project.
In the recent past we have also conducted relief and rehabilitation programme for the Flood, cyclone and COVID-19 pandemic affected vulnerable population of Puri and Koraput district with the support of different international agencies like Cordaid-NL, Jiv Daya Foundation, CASA & Donatekart.

With the support of District Head quarter Hospital, Puri, VRRUTI, Bangalore, JPM rotary eye Hospital and research Institute, Cuttack and Cure Bay we are organizing health check camps in each month for the immigrant fisherfolk communities of Penthakotta an urban slum of Puri. Besides this with the support of Vitamin Angels, USA and Jiv Daya Foundation, USA we are distributing Vitamin-A supplements and Albendazole tablets to the children of age group 6 months to 5 years, similarly anemia kit to the adolescent girls of 9-14 age group. In the form of wall painting and Movie screening we are also creating awareness on Anemia prevention. Through formation of "KISHORI Club" we are creating awareness among the adolescent girls on Menstrual Hygiene Management.

With the Support of Jiv Daya Foundation, USA we are providing Pre-School education with nutrition support in five Anganwadi centres of Boipariguda Block under Koraput district. At present 213 children are getting education support through art, dance, song and story telling. Besides this we are providing them Dress, Shoes and Ration kits twice in a year. Except Sunday under MILK project we are providing them 150 Ml. milk with three pics. of Parle-G biscuits.

We are working on proper implementation of FRA 2006 in 10 villages of Kollar and Kathapada GP under Boipariguda Block of Koraput, Odisha. The main objectives of the project is to empower the the Forest Rights Committees, Forest Protection Committees, PRIs and Community leaders. How the tribal communities of these villages will get their rights under IFR & CFR. Lastly increase in participation of women in GRAMSABHA & PALLISABHA.

Adolescent Development is a major thematic area of work of GSP. With the support of Unitedway of Hyderabad GSP is working on adolescent development programme in Penthakota an urban slum of Immigrant fisherfolk communities of Puri, Odisha. Now we are working with 23 adolescent group having 497 adolescents. We regularly giving them training on self care, importance of education, Good touch/Bad touch, MHM, self esteem, ADVIKA a training course of W & CD department, food diet, carrier counselling etc. We are also counselling the parents on importance of girl child, Child marriage, girl child education etc.
