Parivaar is involved in the humanitarian service to needy children and the elderly. It is active in the States of West Bengal and Madhya Pradesh operating residential educational Read morefacilities that admit children who are neglected and are highly vulnerable to exploitation, victimisation and trafficking. It aligns itself with the ideals of Sri Ramakrishna and Swami Vivekananda providing love and care to needy children, supporting their journey of life right from the age of five to their growth and development towards higher education and employment. It is also actively working to provide ambulance and eye-care services to senior citizens. It has been decorated with numerous prestigious awards for its work to uplift children in distress, the latest being the Rotary Calcutta Vocational Excellence Award.

Theory of Change

We believe that children from extremely poor and marginalized sections have a right to safe and secure childhood and should get all the opportunities to develop their capabilities. Depending upon the need and our resources, whether in a residential setting or non residential setting, we strive to achieve this.
