TAP Programme
The Apprenticeship Project (TAP) employs an AI and NLP-powered WhatsApp chatbot named TAP Buddy to facilitate the TAP programme, aiming to cultivate 21st-century skills among middle and high school students from marginalized backgrounds in India. Through co-curricular electives and self-directed learning, the chatbot delivers a video-based curriculum, guiding students to independently complete projects. TAP Buddy offers personalized support, video resources, and motivational assistance to students. The curriculum is strategically designed to enhance skills like confidence, communication, problem-solving, and self-awareness, while also broadening students' horizons and instilling a growth mindset. The courses offered, including coding, visual arts, financial literacy, science, and performing arts, empower students to develop essential life skills in alignment with UNICEF's Comprehensive Life Skills Framework and the National Education Policy 2020.
