Option of choice based learning is given to students to select 8 interest clubs from the 4 verticals of visual arts, performance arts (dance, drama, m Read moreusic, and public speaking), sports (ultimate frisbee), or technical arts (coding and electronics). Students make an informed choice of their preferred club through a psychometric assessment and continue in their chosen club for a year. Life skills option focusses on building the key life-skills essential like confidence & communication, critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and self-realisation. Students are given exposure and opportunities like internships, training, workshops and competitions to get a real world exposure. It ends in a final showcase where the students perform in front of their parents, teachers, and community members. Skilled individuals are engaged to volunteer for a period of one year in a Government school, in the verticals of performing arts, visual arts, sports and technical arts. Its funding & strategy partners are IIMB, NSR, TFIx, ATMA, Ashoka University, Innovat ED and program partners are Akasnksha, Kids Who Kode, Ashraya Inititative for Chidren, I teach Schools and Art for Akanksha.

The Apprenticeship Project has made a significant impact, with over 21,000 students enrolled across 150+ schools utilizing the TAP programme, leading to the completion of more than 2,500 SDG-aligned projects, through a remarkable 240,000 student interactions with TAP Buddy, the programme has achieved a notable 2x improvement in 21st-century skills among the students.

    The Apprenticeship Project (TAP) employs an AI and NLP-powered WhatsApp chatbot named TAP Buddy to facilitate the TAP programme, aiming to cultivate 21st-century skills among middle and high school students from marginalized backgrounds in India. Through co-curricular electives and self-directed learning, the chatbot delivers a video-based curriculum, guiding students to independently complete projects. TAP Buddy offers personalized support, video resources, and motivational assistance to students. The curriculum is strategically designed to enhance skills like confidence, communication, problem-solving, and self-awareness, while also broadening students' horizons and instilling a growth mindset. The courses offered, including coding, visual arts, financial literacy, science, and performing arts, empower students to develop essential life skills in alignment with UNICEF's Comprehensive Life Skills Framework and the National Education Policy 2020.
