Additionally, it plays a vital role in healthcare by distributing free medicines through a dispensary and offering support to charitable hospitals.

               Sports Academy ProgrammeDistrict Kolkata States West Bengal DDF is actively engaged in sports development, currently in the process of constructing a Table Tennis Academy in New Town, Kolkata. This initiative aims to nurture young talent, foster champions, and enhance personal growth by offering a state-of-the-art facility with approximately 45,000 sq ft of space. The academy will feature 27 table tennis tables, residential accommodations for 40 students, a multipurpose activity room, a gymnasium, a cafeteria, and other amenities. Notably, the South Kolkata premises are presently home to the Dhanuka Dhunseri Dibyendu Barua Chess Academy.
