Organizes and implements various programs in collaboration with the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) of the Department of Women & Child De Read morevelopment, Health and Education Department. Organizes health camps to meet the specific needs of the community to provides services to the patients for specialized care. Focuses to improve health and nutrition through programs at various levels: Anganwadi Centre level: supports workers through capacity building for quality nutrition, health, child education, services for young children, pregnant women, lactating mothers and adolescent girls. Community-level: works to bring behavior change by facilitating improvements in the knowledge and practice of health, WASH and nutrition for mothers and caregivers. School-level: generates awareness and improves knowledge on food habits, nutrition, health and hygiene.

BNF implements programs like Swasth Bharat and Suposhan to address malnutrition in children under 6 years and iron deficiency anemia among adolescents through a holistic approach focusing on nutrition, health, hygiene and community empowerment.

BNF has positively impacted over 200,000 beneficiaries across 450 villages and slums in eight states of India through its comprehensive programs to manage undernutrition and iron deficiency anemia.

Britannia Nutrition Foundation
The BNF programmes use a multifaceted strategy that operates at the community, school, and anganwadi centre levels to combat malnutrition. To address the intergenerational cycle of malnutrition and have a long-lasting effect, the programme interventions are aimed not just at the undernourished children but also at the entire ecosystem in which they grow up.
