The Federal Bank Hormis Memorial Foundation, established by the Federal Bank in 1996, honours the memory of its founder, K. P. Hormis. This policy outlines the CSR vision, committee, and projects in accordance with the Companies Act 2013 and Companies (Corporate Social Responsibility Policy) Rules 2014.   • Commemorative Lectures Programme

    The Federal Bank Hormis Memorial Foundation conducts the Commemorative Lecture Series, featuring prominent speakers like Shri. P. Chidambaram, Shri. S. Venkitaraman, and Dr. Shashi Tharoor. These lectures cover various topics, from Indian banking and globalization to governance and financial inclusion. Notable figures such as the Late Mr. Arun Jaitley, Dr. Raghuram G Rajan, and Mr. Shaktikanta Das have also contributed insights on reforms, the Indian economy, and global economic orders. These lectures provide valuable perspectives on a wide range of subjects, fostering knowledge and awareness in the field.

  • Scholarship Programme

    The Federal Bank Hormis Memorial Foundation has been granting scholarships since the 2005-06 academic year to support deserving students pursuing professional courses. In the fiscal year 2020-21, it expanded its efforts by adding 13 more scholarships for nursing students, resulting in a total of 45 nursing scholarships. In that same year, the Foundation extended its support to 125 eligible students out of 150 available slots. These scholarships encompass various fields, including Medicine, Engineering, BSc (Agri), MBA, BSc Nursing, and assistance to the children of Armed Force Personnel who made the ultimate sacrifice. Since the programme's inception, 1015 students have been awarded scholarships, with 418 students currently benefiting from this initiative.
