Atchayam Beggars Rehabilitation Home for homeless, helpless and hopeless has been relocated on September 2022 from Soolai locality to NULM-Erode corporation building at Lakkapuram, Solarputhur which was allotted by Erode Municipal corporation.
In the early days, it was inaugurated on December 2020 at Ram Nagar, Soolai of Erode district. The Rehabilitation Centre has been framed in a structured manner to provide counseling and training to the beggars and scale up our efforts to reach out large number of beggars in entire districts of Tamil Nadu. More than 350 beggars were directly benefited in our rehabilitation centre

Emergency Care and Recovery Centre (ECRC) for Homeless Mentally ill people

Atchayam trust in association with Department of Health and Family welfare, Government of Tamilnadu, The Institute of Mental Health, Chennai & The banyan, Chennai is running the Emergency Care and Recovery Centre in Perundurai, Erode since February 2021. ECRC mainly works for wandering homeless people with mental illness. The main goal of ECRC is to rescue the persons with mental illness, rehabilitate them and after successful intervention, they would be helped to reintegrate with their family members.

Impact
Successfully outreached various districts of Tamilnadu through an active involvement of 400+ enthusiastic volunteers and rehabilitated 1253 and counselled 11081 homeless beggars living on streets who are in dire need of food, shelter, healthcare and are deprived of love, care and affection in the journey of 10 years of excellence in service. Actively conducted 545 awareness programs and impacted 70,000 public directly, 2,00,000 public indirectly and 1,00,000 youths. Conferred with National Youth Award by Gov.of India and Chief Minister's State Youth award by Gov.of Tamilnadu and bags 70+ prestigious awards.
Vision and Mission
The vision of Atchayam Trust is to create a beggar-free India by transforming the lives of beggars, homeless individuals, and destitute people through rehabilitation and empowerment.
