    5,000 girls from 15 states and 2 union territories received pepper spray.
    Pepper spray is a tool for self-defence against aggressors.
    Every day, on average, at least 986 incidences of crime against women occur.

    15 sanitary napkins or pads will be distributed to one girl; a total of 1,50,000 sanitary napkins or pads will be distributed, enough to last three months.
