It holds additional registrations under the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) of the Government of India, Government of NCT, Delhi, and is ISO 9001:2015 certified. The courses offered by the Vedic Yog Peeth are available across a wide demographic reach, are officially recognized by the National Skills Development Corporation (N.S.D.C.) under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India. VYP traces its origins to April 2010 when it evolved from the Central Research Institute for Yoga (CRIY), initially founded in 1952 by Yogacharya Sri Paresh Chandra Barman in Gohagram, Bardhaman, with the co-founders being Sri Arjun Barman and Shrimati Madhabi Barman. It offers a wide range of short-term and long-term courses, including certificates, diplomas, postgraduate diplomas, and even M.A./M.Sc. level programs in various schools of Yoga and Wellness, Vedic Studies, Art, and Culture. The Vedic Yog Peeth strives to reintroduce the ancient Vedic principles that emphasize the transformation of an individual's inner self into a healthier and more blissful state. By harmonizing technology with a spiritual inclination, the faculty provides courses in Yoga, Ayurveda, Naturopathy, Nutrition, Cultural Music and Dance, Visual Arts, Vastu Shastra, Vedic Astrology, and Vedic Maths in an environment that promotes freedom and finesse.
