Programs

  • Problem diagnosis

To begin creating a programme that works, one must first identify the development problem and the barriers that the programme is meant to address.

To determine which of a problem's numerous contributing aspects is the most serious or "binding," we perform a thorough investigation. Programmes may more effectively and efficiently target their resources to accomplish an outcome of interest by determining the biggest obstacles and dilemmas.

  • Theory of change development

Based on a thorough problem diagnosis, 3ie collaborates with partners to create theories of change (TOCs) that are contextually appropriate, and evidence-based, and include recommendations for testing, modifying, and assessing the TOCs before and after programme implementation.
