Skills to Succeed: Accenture India

Skills to Succeed, an initiative of Accenture in India, focuses on skilling programs for youth, women and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) in both rura Read morel and urban areas. These skilling programs are across business process outsourcing, hospitality and facilities management, retail, construction and micro-enterprise. They run their own rural community centre for women in Bagepalli, Karnataka to provide training to underprivileged women and adolescent girls from villages surrounding Bagepalli. They also work through partner NGOs who provide local know-how and reach to help impart these skilling programs. These partnerships are supported by Accenture by providing pro-bono consulting, cash donations, employee volunteering and fundraising to help sustain the projects.
