Provides livelihood opportunities through eco-toursim on the 10 acres of farm developed by women agriculture workers. It was developed to support loca Read morel women who faced the depleting conditions of agriculture due to scarcity of water in the area. Organized the land-less women agriculture workers into a co-operative- the Vanlaxmi Women Tree Grower's Cooperative. Developed the farm for the visitors as an eco-tourism opportunity to showcase the traditional and local cultural rituals, food, rituals, etc. It is a new stream of revenue for the farm, society and people associated with it. Conducts eco-tourism for outside visitors like foreigners, senior citizens, students and members of clubs etc. They offer a day tour with a cost-covering traditional welcome, breakfast, beverages, lunch and choice to take transportation from/ to Ahmedabad. Arranges local, cultural entertainment programs in the evening before closing the tour. Offers activities like children’s park, traditional games, camel rides, musical performance, rare bird watching, experiential stories. Offers options to purchase ethnic spices, organic vegetables and deserts through stalls on the farm.
