  • AMM Murugappa Chettiar Centenary Scholars (Murugappa Scholars)

    District

    This program is designed to help underprivileged students pursuing professional streams. This support initiative is created keeping in mind the challenges faced by underprivileged students. The scholarship goes beyond covering fees and expenses. The scholarship provides a comprehensive help including soft skills and communication skills training. This programme has benefited 263 scholars, chosen after a rigorous selection process.

    AMM Foundation and Parry Nutraceutical Ltd, in collaboration with Siruthuli, have embarked on a significant project to revive and restore water bodies in and around Oonaiyur. In Phase 1 of the project, a comprehensive preliminary investigation was conducted within a 5km radius of the Oonaiyur factory. The investigation aimed to gain insights into the geology, hydrogeology, demography, and land use of the region.
    The study covered a wide range of observation sites, including 650 sites spread across 14 villages, 49 hamlets, 7,331 houses, and a population of approximately 36,000 individuals. The outcomes of this investigation involved lineament mapping, identification of aquifers, preparation of drainage plans, and the classification of 10 micro-watershed areas.

  • Mobile health van

    District

    AMM Foundation has collaborated with Wockhardt Foundation to operate Six Mobile Health Van. The Vans are equipped with a Mobile lab Kit and ECG facility and Free medicines. The team consists of qualified Doctor, Nurse/Pharmacist, Social Worker, Lab Technician and a driver.

  • Murugappa Youth Football Academy

    District

    The intent of this academy is to provide quality football coaching to children from the neighbouring communities. Training in sports will impart life skills like discipline, team spirit, respect, honesty, and so on. These values will go on to help them in the children’s education and career.
