Support Programme for Shelter Associates
The Chintu Gudiya Foundation supports Shelter Associates, a non-profit organisation working to improve the living conditions of India's urban poor in slums and informal settlements. To effectively aid these communities, Shelter Associates employs a three-stage technology solution. It utilizes KoBoToolBox for data collection, linking the data to a Geographic Information System (GIS) overlaid on Google Maps. This allows visual monitoring of progress in essential projects, such as toilet construction and community mobilization. Business Intelligence and Reporting Tool (BIRT) is used to create visualizations and reports at both the individual toilet and slum levels. This project has a duration of three years and is currently ongoing.

Support Programme for Aangan
The Chintu Gudiya Foundation supports Aangan in its mission to build robust child protection systems. Aangan uses a community-based approach to prevent harm to vulnerable children, collecting data from "hotspots" with CommCare Dimagi. The challenge was processing this data manually, resulting in time-consuming report generation. To address this, a web application with a dashboard was created, allowing the easy display and download of hotspot data in PDF format. The technology stack includes Python scripts, MySQL for data storage, and the BIRT reporting tool. This project, lasting six months, has been successfully completed, streamlining the data processing for child protection efforts.

Support Programme for LeapForWord
The Chintu Gudiya Foundation aids LeapForWord in its mission to enhance the English language skills of children from under-served regional language communities. To ensure their English-teaching programme's relevance, LeapForWord required a diagnostic tool. This tool, built in just two weeks using WordPress with a custom plugin, allows users to answer questions that determine the programme's suitability for them. Additionally, the tool sends email alerts to the LeapForWord team every time it is used. This project has been successfully completed, assisting in the assessment of program applicability.
