Gujarat
Karghewale collaborates with weavers from the culturally rich Kutch region, particularly in Bhuj, who employ various traditional techniques like extra weft insertion to create vibrant Kutchi motifs such as chowmukh and damru. These skilled artisans also work with indigenous wool, crafting it into beautiful shawls. Notably, they utilize Kala cotton, an organic, hand-spun, and handwoven cotton variety unique to the arid Kutch region, making it one of the most sustainable fibres. Karghewale's products combine cotton, Kala cotton, and wool, reflecting the rich tapestry of this region's weaving traditions.

Karghewale celebrates the exquisite weaves of Maheshwar, known for their delicate silk and cotton fabrics adorned with intricate zari borders. These lightweight and easy-to-drape saris have become wardrobe staples for handloom enthusiasts. The weaving technique, known as Dobby, is a hallmark of Maheshwari textiles and often draws inspiration from nature, featuring themes like the Narmada river's waves (leher), ropes (rassa), cotton flowers (rui phool), and more in their border designs. Today, these Maheshwari textiles are known as Neem Reshmi, distinct from the traditional Garbh Reshmi style of the past.
