As the irrigation of fields are also to a great extent dependent on rains it becomes difficult to get good crops leading to poverty and distress in the farming community. To address this difficulty, the organisation has developed a light weight, portable, one touch operation water pump which uses solar energy to run. This tackles literally all the problems as described above. There is no dependence on the grid for power, no complex installation and also affordable solution. Besides helping poor farmers, it is also impacting the environment by promoting green energy and thus contributing to less carbon-di-oxide emissions.
