Padcare Labs is working to recycle sanitary pads and upcycle it to make it useful. It has developed devices which aid to receive and disintegrate the Read morepads into harmless waste. Its initiative is based on sustainability, safety and dignity. It has developed two products; Padcare, an automated hygiene management system and Padcare Bin to collect waste. It has developed a dedicated workforce to aid in the safe and clean disposal of sanitary pads. The segregation of the sanitary pads happens at the source itself like toilets and bathrooms where Padcare bins are stratetically placed to collect the used pads. Once a bin is full waste-management teams collects the refuse and transports it to the central processing unit, here the waste is shredded and put through a combination chemical and mechanical processes using the Padcare system. The final product is a harmless and odourless mix of cellulose and plastic which can be moulded into a new product altogether. The Padcare waste-management system can be useful to handle menstrual waste in hostels, paying guest accommodations, corporate parks, Government bodies and waste management facilities. It would ensure responsible disposal, a safer and cleaner environment and also recycled products like planters. At PadCare, our meaningful program has impacted over 11,000 women and is still growing. In managing menstrual hygiene, we address the issues of awareness, accessibility, segregation, and recycling. Our end-to-end recycling system, PadCare Vending Machine, and PadCare Bin guarantee that women have maximum privacy, comfort, and convenient access to necessities.

Empowering our Safai Karamcharis
Our CSR initiatives in housing societies, communities, and schools remove the need for safai karamcharis to manually gather old sanitary pads. By placing bins strategically, women may get rid of their soiled pads right away, saving labourers from having to handle them by hand. Everyone benefits from a cleaner, more respectable, and healthier atmosphere as a result.
