Promethean Energy aims to reduce the carbon footprint of industries by providing energy efficient solutions for industrial and commercial application. Its technology includes the recovery of waste heat which is produced by chillers(Chillmate), air compressors(Compmate) and hot gases(Flowtherm). The various units developed by Promethean energy capture heat, which otherwise will be lost to the atmosphere, from machines to heat water which can be used in multiple ways, by using it to heat other materials or by itself. This leads to increased energy efficiency and thus savings of fuel and reduction of carbon footprint. Its industrial IOT system helps monitor important parameters of machine performance like flow, temperature, vibration, pressure and energy. It can keep track of the health of many machines like boilers, cooling towers, chillers, compressors and any custom equipment that the industry make like to be tracked. The IOT system puts out visual information which can be interpreted to increase productivity, perform advance maintenance to avoid failure of a machine, collection of data for future use and can be set up in forty eight hours or less without a shutdown and minimal wiring. It is being used in the automotive, chemical, food and beverages, dairy and textile industries.
