Life-Lab works to spread science learning to underserved students in low income schools in a joyous, fun-filled and hands-on manner. It aims to rectif Read morey the damage that has been done by traditional methods of teaching and learning like teaching only theories, purely classroom based, memorisation and lack of practical application. It has come up with novel and practical methods which enable learning by doing. It has developed do-it-yourself activity kits which are boxes with grade specific experiments containing materials included to perform an experiment. Demoz lab models contains models which display principles of science at work. There are 80 models to choose from and each model is built to last long and sturdy. Each model is interactive and can be a permanent addition to a student’s learning kit. It trains teachers to deliver interesting and practical science lessons that brings experiential learning to the classrooms. It has developed a 100 hour training programme to equip teachers with knowledge, skills, challenge mind-sets and build networks to improve the school ecosystem. Through comic books the organisation aims to encourage social, emotional and science learning in the students. The comics are designed with illustrations and according to the levels of understanding of students. It motivates children to read more and also perform experiments talked about in the comic by collecting material from their surroundings. Videos are also being developed by Life Lab to engage children and facilitate effective communication between parents, teachers, students and teach science through the visual medium. Plans to release 120 informative videos are in progress. These videos will be freely available to watch on the internet. Every effort of the organisation is backed by published research and It promotes the three step process of exploring, analysing and connecting which helps the children to get critical physical, social, emotional, cognitive and creative skills for life-long learning.

  • DIY Activity Kits

    District

    The DIY Activity Kits empower students to conduct science experiments independently, fostering experiential learning. Each kit, tailored to specific grade levels, contains 12 experiments meticulously crafted with everyday materials to encourage exploration, innovation, and self-reliance. Every box provides all necessary materials for the experiments, except those readily available in the child's school environment.
