Since its founding in 2005, the Trust has helped numerous children complete their secondary education. It focuses on education, healthcare, and livelihoods to create a positive impact on these communities. The Light of Life Trust is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those who need it most in rural India, by providing resources and support to help them build a better future for themselves and their families.

Anando School Empowerment Programme(ASEP)
The goal of this programme is to improve schools by helping students gain skills, improve communication, build self-confidence and develop relationships. It also aims to decrease dropout rates, contributing to the development of the country's economy. ASEP empowers teachers by teaching them interactive classroom techniques and effective methods of parent and community exchanges, resulting in increased participation of all stakeholders.

Anant Programme
Anant is a programme supported by Flowering Tree Inc., U.S.A. since 2008 that emphasizes the importance of applied arts in livelihoods. The programme believes in nurturing students' talents in performing arts such as dance, music and theatre. It is a collaborative arts education initiative that aims to empower students to pursue careers in the performing arts.

Anando Plus Programme
This Programme aims to provide children with choices for higher education or vocational training, leading to either employment in the organised sector or entrepreneurship. The programme caters to students who have completed their primary education and face financial constraints that prevent them from pursuing further education. It builds employability skills based on students' abilities, expertise, and interests to ensure financial independence.

Anando Programme
The Anando Programme aims to provide education to underprivileged rural children and help them complete their secondary education. It works with parents, teachers, and communities to create a supportive environment for children in an attempt to prepare them for the future and make them self-reliant.

Environment Conservation Programme
This Programme focuses on upskilling small farmers in rural areas by providing them with fruit-bearing plants for an added source of income. It also aims to increase the green cover of the planet and promote sustainable farming practices. It has helped economically weaker farmers become financially self-sufficient and provided greater food security for villagers, while also enabling them to sell their plants and produce in cities.

Mobile Medical Unit
The Trust launched its Medical Mobile Unit (MMU) to provide primary healthcare services to remote and tribal villages. It is a primary healthcare unit on wheels that organises health check-up camps and health awareness programmes while treating common and non-communicable diseases. Its team consists of a doctor, a nurse, and a medical social worker. Additionally, it also promotes best practices and preventive care measures among beneficiaries.

Livelihood Programme
Its Livelihood Training Programme aims to provide vocational training to women and unemployed youth in rural areas. The programme helps them develop skills to become financially independent, capable of multiple skills, and pursue their entrepreneurial goals. It also teaches money management and marketing and provides assistance in building their network and market linkages to start their own local enterprises.
