The Trust aims to bring traditional art forms and crafts into the limelight and thus encourages the weaving of handicrafts made out of locally available golden and sabai grass, bamboo, and date palms. It promotes present-day designs in textiles including Tussar and Ikat work, applique and quilt work also boosting silver filigree and Pattachitra which is Odisha’s very local art form.

It conducts skill development sessions for women artisans wherein innovation is introduced in existing art forms. The Trust identifies young artisans and women weavers and empowers them through marketing and capacity-building support for their businesses. It also conducts eye checkups for the weavers and provides them with glasses.

To empower women workers from backward tribes and social groups the Trust spots leaders amongst them and presents them to the public in the form of documentaries using local art forms as tools of storytelling. International Women’s day is celebrated with great enthusiasm in its centres across Odisha to mark its journey of women's empowerment.

As part of its educational initiative, the Trust collects books on art, design and anthropology to set up libraries and in equal measure donates books to local schools. It also financially supports students from underserved communities to pursue their education. Partnering with Nuapatna – Digikala Centre it has launched a library intended to provide design, weaving, science and other books to women workers, artisans and poor students.

Its Disaster Response Programme seeks to help the communities affected by natural calamities. It conducts surveys of the damages, documents them and sets out to provide relief material and take rehabilitative measures to bring normalcy to the affected people.
